MAPLE GLAZED BUFFALO RIBEYE
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
Instructions: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk constantly until flour is blended and cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes. Add maple syrup, salt and brown sugar and simmer until the sugar dissolves and sauce thickens, 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Heat a small amount of oil in a large saucepan over high heat until hot. Salt and pepper both sides of ribeyes and sear until nicely browned on both sides. Transfer steaks to a baking pan and cook in a 350 degrees oven to desired temperature. Remove steaks from oven and brush with maple glaze. Allow steaks to rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
